What has happened since last time?

Since the last newsletter, in March, Green Boom has attended several exhibitions and events. Starting in April, Green Boom was a part of the SCAA Annual Meeting in Jacksonville, Florida. Lawrence Malizzi of Ramboll, a board member of SCAA and our mentor expresses that “The benefit to SCAA is that Green Boom exposes the membership to the latest in cutting edge and renewable technology.”. In April we also attended the Clean Waterways Conference in Denver, we were glad to speak with so many of you about how to make your oil spills waste free.

In May Partnership Gwinnett introduced us to a neighboring school from our facility in Norcross to teach the next generation about how technology can help the planet. Our sales director Parker Pruett had a blast!

Green Boom has also attended the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, and at the joint Region 4 & Region 6 Regional Response Team Meeting in Louisiana.

Green Boom is a member of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (SCAA) and we were glad to be at the annual meeting at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in May.

Green Boom's MENA office attended the SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Along with the U.S. Chamber GreenTech delegation about #COP28. Meeting the important figures for COP28 and ministers in UAE is a significant step in our journey to revolutionize the approach of spill cleanups.

Lastly, in June Green Boom attended the 2023 Central States Hazmat Preparedness & Planning Conference in Missouri, involving nine state regions with decision-makers and first responders in the emergency industry.
